Domestic Violence is one person’s use of emotional, physical, and / or sexual violence or the threat of violence to get control and keep control of their intimate partner.



Usually, the act of abuse and violence becomes more severe and frequent in spite of promises to the contrary. The abusive acts stop only with intervention which includes the law, education, and /or a combined community effort to stop the abuse.
